Joining:
Well done, clicking this page may have taken you a long time and a lot of courage, so let's just make it clear, joining the ALP does not mean that we will expect you to get up on the stage and act. Joining the ALP gives you the ability to get involved with reading plays, suggesting plays, directing, prompting, producing, set building, lighting, front of house, costumes, props, making tea, sweeping up - in fact a whole raft of things that go into bringing the fictitious to life.
Any of which you can do, or not do, as you wish.
There is a membership fee. However, although we like people to join and become members, our only rule is that you cannot perform unless you are one. The full membership price is £20.00 and covers you for performing for the current year. Alternatively, if you just want to do everything except Act or Direct, then the membership is £10.
To become a member you must be 16 years of age or older..
